According to many authors, a useful plan for a project includes
the following components:
- statement of the project's goals
- list of deliverables
- work-breakdown-structure (WBS)
- network-diagram
- resource-plan
- schedule
- financial plan
- communication-plan
- risk-management plan
- and more, depending on the author
However long any author's list might be, the network-diagram is central to
the operational, temporal, and financial aspects of every
project. Yet, one is hard-pressed to find an answer the
following question: "By what process does one build the
network-diagram of a project?" |
